Not 'sick care' - HEALTHcare

What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct primary care is not a form of health insurance. Direct primary care is a healthcare arrangement in which a physician is contracted privately with a group of patients to provide for their primary care needs outside of the insurance system.
This affordable monthly fee allows the physician to reduce administrative overhead and burdens related to dealing with insurance companies, allowing that physician to limit the number of patients in the practice. This in turn allows the physician to spend more time with each patient, and allows each patient greater access to their personal physician, including same day/next day appointments in most cases.
Since primary care represents 90% of the average patient's health care experience, direct primary care gives the patient a tremendous amount of control over the largest component of their healthcare experience. Direct primary care is not a form of health insurance.
